2012 Conference and Events

The 67th Annual National Conference on Citizenship will be held in Philadelphia on Friday, September 14, 2012. The Conference will be held in partnership with the National Constitution Center.

NCoC’s 2012 Annual Theme is “Jobs, Jobs, Jobs: Exploring the Link Between Civic Engagement and Employment.” This theme will build off our 2011 Issue Brief “Civic Health and Unemployment,” which found a positive correlation between a community’s civic health and its unemployment rate. In accordance with this theme, NCoC will direct our research and convening presence this year to exploring this connection further.
