David B. Smith selected as 2010 American Express NGen Fellow

June 3, 2010
We are pleased to report that the National Conference on Citizenship's executive director, David B. Smith, has been selected as a 2010 American Express NGen Fellow, an award made to only 12 non-profit leaders in the US under the age of 40.

The American Express NGen Fellows Program offers these young professionals opportunities to magnify their impact and accelerate their careers through networking and jointly addressing critical challenges facing the nonprofit and philanthropic community. The Fellowship is an initiative of the Independent Sector NGen program, which supports and recognizes future leaders of the nonprofit sector already making important contributions.

This is a notable achievement; one that will enhance David's own contributions as Executive Director of NCoC. Please join us in congratulating David for this well-deserved recognition.

Sincerely,

Michael Weiser and John Bridgeland
Chair, NCoC Board of Directors and Chair, NCoC Board of Advisors
